ABOUT US

The purpose of the Classic and Custom Car Club of NSW is to keep Classic and Custom car culture alive in Australia by developing a go to source, ongoing conversation and supplier link to car culture for all vehicle makes and models (subject to HVS criteria) in a safe and social environment.

The focus of our club is to  provide an advice point for members that don’t know what step to take next in safe, driven vehicles that use our roads and how to avoid costly mistakes or poor suppliers in their quest for their ultimate vehicle needs. The NSW RMS registers historic vehicles under the Historic Vehicles Scheme (HVS), which provides vehicles with limited access to the road network and Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance cover.

At present vehicles registered  under this scheme are exempt from the payment of stamp duty, motor vehicle tax and national charges. HVS registered vehicles are primarily registered for club and personal use, in accordance with the HVS logbook scheme.
